TESTIMONIALS

John conducts seminars on subjects ranging from Agency to Stress.
Using heavy doses of humor and lots of audience participation, he generates an energetic, innovative and fun learning experience.

He is a NH Real Estate Commission Approved Instructor providing:
The "Mandatory Core" Class and...
The 40 Hour Pre-License Course
Note: ALL John's Classes - Core, Elective, Pre-License have been approved for Live and/or Live Stream, (Zoom Based), education

John offers a variety of Elective Sessions for License Renewal:

Approved for 3 hours of Continuing Education in NH:
('PE' before the Class # indicates the class is approved for "Post Licensing" - complies with the Elective choices available for those licensees licensed for the first time after Feb 1, 2020, applying for their first renewal)

Conflict and Dispute Resolution - NHREC: E # 1981: This session is ideal as a group-exercise, a must for aspiring broker-owners and broker-managers, and perfect for a gathering of individual co-operating licensees. Designed with the consumer in mind, the session analyzes the sources of conflict and the proper ways to resolve disputes. Emphasis is placed on "preventive maintenance" By creating the proper structure and establishing healthy lines of communication, the broker goes a long way to reduce the incidence of conflict and dispute.

Understanding Procuring Cause... For Your Consumer's Benefit! NHREC: E # 1982: A consumer dealing with a licensee who understands the issues of procuring cause is less likely to end up embroiled in the middle of a conflict between licensees over commissions. A licensee who knows procuring cause can better help the consumer understand how commissions are paid and how to avoid paying commissions twice. Licensees benefit by knowing not only how to protect their clients, but also how to avoid ending up in a commission dispute.

THE SALES AGREEMENT- It's Your Map! NHREC: E # PE-023 - Review of the P&S - especially recent changes. I approach the P&S using the metaphor of a map to establish a practical hands-on approach then review the realities of putting it all into the current NHAR approved P&S agreement.

PROPERTY CONDITION & DISCLOSURE ISSUES NHREC: E # PE-1146 - Between my teaching The Core and my work as an expert witness, it is obvious that Realtors® and Licensees have a lot of questions about Property Condition and Disclosure Issues!!! Complying with the law, representing sellers and/or buyers, and dealing with issues such as Mold, Radon, Lead, Megan's Law, and on and on... it can get very confusing! This class is designed as a step by step reviewed and update of what it required by law, what is important to consider in risk management, and what are often used best business practices. Simple, straight forward, well organized.

CLIENT ORIENTED NEGOTIATING NHREC: # E-1171 - One of the few negotiating courses still approved in NH... done from a Win/Win perspective it's heavy on practicality and content. How to best understand and serve your client in the crucial area of Negotiating.

RISK REDUCTION THRU COMPLIANCE AND AWARENESS NHREC: E # PE-1147 - A risk management course complementary to #E1146 above. In this session, I review the forms used for License Law compliance and present them as useful sales tools as opposed to distracting nuisance items.

THE VALUE OF ETHICS NHREC: E # PE-005 - Review of the NAR Code of Ethics - this course also satisfies the NAR Triennial Requirement for Realtors®

I've taken the Core class many times over the years and I want to let you know that your presentation of what can get to be very repetitive and dry material was fantastic! Thank you so much for being there for us; I know everyone walked away being much more informed.
-Nancy Ray, CEO Capital Region Board of REALTORS®

Hi John,
Thank you for following up with detail on my question from your Core Course... My compliments on your class John - You not only have a complete and solid knowledge of the content, but you presented it in a way that engaged the class and made the three hours informative, interesting and entertaining - all at the same time. Your experience shows - well done!
Jim Lyons, Select real Estate, NHAR Realtor of the Year and President Elect

John, I've not talked to everyone, yet so far everyone had nothing but positives to say about the seminar. My view: very polished. Excellent substance. Great way to break the ice to start with. Great team building exercise for all of us. Thanks for the great service, friend.
